YG Boston Concert reviews
My Religious Experience with Avenged Sevenfold!!
"I couldn't call myself a true fan until I went to my first concert at the Woodlands Pavilion, but I loved Avenged Sevenfold's music before! Hellyeah at the Jeigermeister Stage was the first act we saw when we arrived just in time, & I could kick myself for not recognizing Mike Portnoy riding a bike near the entrance to Jeigermister. A few people ran up to him to get pictures with him, but I just gave him a smile and he smiled back. Halestorm & StoneSour rocked on the main stage, they sounded great live, but there was no real energy until A7X came on stage! I was in a trance from beginning to end of their set. Dang... M Shadows intro'd Portnoy, and I was blown away by something about thousands of people screaming & singing in unison. They sang songs from their new album Nightmare, & all their best past songs!! Next time, I'm getting closer seats regardless of the price because I hope they come to the Woodlands Pavilion again. It was much more intimate than a big arena. I would follow them all over the country if I could afford to. YG closed out the show, but we didn't stay because I'm not a big fan & wanted to end my night on the A7X high. When I walked out of the venue, I felt as if I'd gotten hit by a bus, & the adrenaline rush lasted for many hours after."
